About Joe and the show

Joe McDonough who is a Marine Corps veteran who has been deployed overseas once in Okinawa Japan in the mid 1980s Although after his enlistment service Joe had the travel bug. He spent his time around the country before settling in California in 1988. That same year Joe bough his first motorcycle a 1950 Triumph Thunderbird chopper. With that Joe has gravitated to the biker world. In 1993 during the passage of the helmet law Joe tried his hand with a small LA radio station for amateurs with a show 'Bikers for America' where he hosted a weekly show with guests and discussed biker issues. The show only lasted for a couple months before Joe moved on. Later in 2005 While Joe prospected for a San Francisco based Barbary Coast Motorcycle Club Joe rebooted his show into 'Radio Free Biker' the world's first Motorcycle based podcast. The Podcast ran for 2 years

Joe has also had a life long travel bug. He has been to all fifty states as well as over 70some countries and territories. In 1998 Joe took a year off and back packed around the world through South East Asia, India, Middle East and Africa. In 2016 Joe did an epic motorcycle trip down the Baja Peninsula to Cabo San Lucas. After regretting not filming and documenting the road trip, Joe did get the idea to combine 3 things he loved and knew about, motorcycling, traveling, and media. He started up the show '1Guy1World2Wheels' a travel series where Joe would highlight the motorcycling aspects. Meeting other bikers, organizations, attending events and stop by biker venues. Since 2016 Joe has filmed seven episodes which some are already out and others continuing. On Season 1# episodes include, Hong Kong, Cuba, San Francisco, London, Sydney, Vancouver, Pittsburgh.
